We offer an initial consultation free of charge to discuss your requirements.
We shall then submit a quotation outlining the design fees.
Our design service is split into 3 stages:
1. DESIGN PROPOSALS
A flat fee is charged for each room and includes:
Design Boards (click here) fully annotated to coordinate all visual elements such as fabrics, paint and wallpaper suggestions, light fittings, flooring, furniture and drawings.
Acquisition of samples and brochures
Design Specification referencing of all products sourced and quotes as agreed
Standard Room Survey
Flat fees start at £500.00 per room, and will vary according to the brief.
Drawings including floor plans, elevations, furniture designs, and perspective black and white or colour are priced separately.
Payment Schedule: We require a signed copy of our contract together with a 50% deposit. A further interim payment is required with the balance payable on completion of the presentation material.
2. DESIGN EXECUTION
You determine precisely the level of involvement we have in your project, and you may wish to implement the design independently. The material provided to date will enable this. Should you wish us to follow through the design, it will involve the following, all of which will be charged for on an hourly rate basis starting from £40/hour. This is invoiced on a monthly basis.
Building and decorating specifications are very useful documents detailing the full scope of work required, once a design is approved.
Co-ordination of contractors - it is advisable for us to commission the contractor to carry out the works agreed, guiding the activities involved to ensure that the agreement is adhered to.
3. SUPPLY
All products sourced by Inspace Design such as wallpaper, fabrics, furniture, lighting, accessories, flooring, etc. are offered at competitive retail prices. These will be fully itemised on the invoice for which payment is to be settled within 7 days unless otherwise agreed.
